Video Content Strategies for Health & Wellness Coach & Content Creator

A coach approached me as she felt stuck in her video content creation efforts on social media. Her two businesses (health and wellness coaching and content creation about the digital nomad lifestyle for two separate social media profiles) were stagnating without a clear direction. She knew that incorporating video into her social media content was vital, but she had so much buzzing around in her mind, it made it hard to move forward. She needed some structure and a sense of direction to invigorate her profiles.

We worked together to create two video content strategies for her separate brands on social media (with the idea to expand into YouTube channels when the time was right). We talked through each business on a separate discovery call with my guided questions leading the way.

After our first call, the strategy came together as a full-fledged document that the client could respond to and ask questions in (to allow for her busy work and travel schedule). We had a follow-up call to finish the strategy documents and allow her to move forward with putting the strategy into action.

From our initial call, my client expressed deep gratitude for our time together as I was able to empower her and motivate her to look at her business anew. More specifically, we talked about discomfort and anxiety related to appearing on camera and sharing her content in that way.

I deeply understand the courage that it takes to share yourself online and always respect my clients’ boundaries around what they are and are not comfortable with doing on video. Thinking creatively about what might work for a client means that my video strategies reflect their comfort level so that they can take action and are not held back by their anxieties. Limitations like these can be a powerful force for creativity and these strategies reflected her expertise and boundaries well.
